Please make sure you vote on Thursday May 1st. ” I would rather you voted against me, than to not vote at all.  Apathy must not be the winner in these local elections”,  said Bob Kilmister.  Bob is hoping that the turnout in the Dinas ward will be higher than the 59% who voted in 2004.  ” I hope that Focus will have persuaded many people who have lost faith recently in the political system and politicians, to once again take part in our democratic system.  We must look after our democracy and not take it for granted.  Our forebears fought for the principle of one person one vote for centuries and now it is threatened by apathy”, said Bob.

The result of the election will not be known until Friday 2nd May, sometime in the afternoon, as the count is taking place from 09.00 that morning.  I will publish the result here as soon as possible on Friday.
