Biography

Bob Kilmister is aged 52, is married to Nikki and has a 13 year old son Thomas who goes to Ysgol Bro Gwaun in Fishguard.  He lives at Fagwyr Einon, which is a smallholding between Llanychaer and Dinas which was purchased in January 2001.  They keep Welsh Black cattle, poultry and bees.  They were full time carers for Bob’s mother until her death in December 2006.

Bob was born in Cheltenham but his mother comes from a welsh speaking family in Criccieth.  His grandfather once worked as a solicitor in David Lloyd George’s practice.  He has lived most of his married life in Bromsgrove Worcestershire where he was a District Councillor and group leader between 1983 and 1991.  He worked for  J. Sainsbury Plc for 30 years, 12 as a store manager.  The last 4 years were in the Distribution division.

He is extremely interested in environmental matters and is a member of Friends of the Earth.  He is also Chair of Ysgol Bro Gwaun PTA.  He is very interested in most sports, especially rugby and football.   He has edited Focus in the Dinas Cross ward for 2 years. This is circulated to around 850 homes, many of which are extremely rural.  This ward covers the largest area in Pembrokeshire.
